I trusted my intuition and started over in a town where I knew no one—only to find the career that would change my life.
Something magical happened when we moved to St. George; this town was the spark that led me into real estate. I was already familiar with the industry—I had family members who were REALTORS®, and I had sold my own home in Reno—so the seeds were there. But what really changed everything was my deep love for this place.
Originally, moving to St. George made no logical sense. We were living in Reno, where I worked as a cosmetologist and even owned my own salon. I loved that work—helping people feel good, watching them leave happier than when they arrived.
My husband and I were raising our daughters, Kathleen and Jeralee, there. He and I met when I was 17 while I was visiting a friend in Seattle. He was sitting on the front porch, and we started talking about everything and anything. Our connection was immediate and deep. All these years
later, he’s still my soulmate and best friend. I still get butterflies around him. I choose him every day, and I’m endlessly grateful for our relationship.
We started vacationing in St. George, and I fell completely in love. It felt almost bizarre—like the land itself was calling me. The red dirt, the dramatic red rocks… there’s an energy here. It pulled me in.
“I think we need to move to St. George,” I told my husband. He was hesitant—and understandably so. We didn’t know anyone. We had no jobs lined up. It didn’t make sense on paper, but my intuition was louder than logic.
So we took the leap. We packed up along with our two Dalmatians (I’m obsessed with Dalmatians, by the way) and moved. We lived in a trailer while our house was being built. I reopened my cosmetology practice, and my husband continued working in construction.
The move represented a new way of living—more freedom and more beauty. That’s when I started feeling the pull toward real estate. People warned me it would be hard, and I hesitated, but eventually I listened to the call and got my license in 2014.
The day I passed my real estate exam, my world shattered as my oldest daughter, Kathleen, passed away at 25. The grief was unbearable. I collapsed into a deep depression, unable to get out of bed. I remember feeling guilty that my youngest would see me so broken, wondering what she must be thinking.
As I continued to grieve, I thought of Kathleen. I knew—without a doubt—that she would be furious if she saw me giving up on life. She would want me living fully, following my passion, shining my light. I realized I had a choice: throw myself a pity party or honor her by living. So I got out of bed and went to work.

That first year, I became Rookie of the Year. In my second year, I became deeply involved in the community—cleaning the local cemetery, helping beautify burial sites, giving wherever I could. People began to recognize me as someone who genuinely cared.
That’s still who I am today. I rally to help people afford homes, support those impacted by natural disasters, and serve however I can. I’m also a proud grandmother to two grandchildren who mean everything to me—Omari (Kathleen’s son), who is now 19, and Brexlee, who is 5. We’re incredibly close.

I love being in nature—boating, hiking, soaking in the beauty of this place—and creating a beautiful life for my family through my work. Real estate didn’t just become my career. It became my way of honoring love, loss, and new beginnings.
With 12 years of experience, I bring high energy, drive, and a true go-getter mentality to every real estate transaction. I go the extra mile to ensure my clients have a positive, empowering experience, and I’m especially passionate about helping them build long-term wealth through real estate. I love showing clients how to hold onto a home, purchase a second property, and turn their first into an investment—it’s one of the most meaningful ways I serve.
I’m known for being honest, even when the truth is uncomfortable, because clear, direct advice is what gets results. As a skilled negotiator, I aim for win-win outcomes while fiercely protecting my clients’ money and securing terms that truly serve their goals. Professionalism is at the core of how I work, and I stay highly accessible, responding quickly and staying engaged throughout the day. As a local expert, I also connect clients with trusted vendors and resources. More than just a REALTOR®, I strive to build genuine relationships and become a trusted advisor—and friend—my clients can rely on.
Sincerely,

Julia DeMarce
